Flyboy Donuts is a family-driven business built on tradition, quality, and community. Owner/Manager Ben Duenwald grew up on a farm near Hoven, South Dakota, alongside his 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Growing up on the farm his parents instilled in him a strong work ethic, a deep appreciation for quality ingredients, and a passion for building something meaningful.
After earning a degree in Ag Systems Technology from South Dakota State University and working in food production, he took a leap into business ownership in 2014. What started as a single shop has grown into five neighborhood shops across Sioux Falls.
As a family-owned business, Flyboy Donuts is a true labor of love. Ben’s sister, Stacy White, plays a vital role in operations, while his daughters, nieces, and nephews work regularly at the shops. Other family “consultants,” including Ben’s wife Carolyn, lend their enthusiasm and ideas to help shape the future.
With a dedicated team of over 40 employees, Flyboy Donuts produces thousands of fresh donuts and rolls daily. They have all of your old favorites, plus a delightful new twist on several. Something to please all generations!
